Chartered Psychologist

We all struggle sometimes, all of us.

It's part of being human. We don't get it right all the time. We weren’t given a roadmap or an instruction manual on how to live life, get the most out of it, manage our health and wellbeing and be the best version of ourselves that we can be.
We can get stuck with the same issues, going round and round, frustrated that we can’t seem to break these cycles we are in.
So getting some help with that is, well, helpful!

I can offer help with a range of common challenges and have provided some descriptions of those here. We can have an initial chat, free of charge, to explore how we could work together to get you from surviving to thriving.

Individual Therapy

We all get stuck sometimes. One to one sessions are a way to help you overcome the barriers, understand the cycles we get stuck in and develop new tools and approaches to enable you to live the life you want to live.

Weight concerns

Weight is something that many people find tricky to manage and living in a society that suggests it's simple doesn't help! In one to one sessions we will take time fully understand what is making it hard to manage weight and find ways of addressing those barriers.

Pre/post bariatric support

Bariatric surgery is a big step and not to be confused with a 'quick fix' or a 'permanent solution'. It's a tool that helps you manage your weight. In our sessions we can explore how you can work with that tool to get the best from it.

Therapy Sessions

Disordered eating is really common and it impacts a lot of people in numerous ways: it's something that people often suffer in silence about for a long time. Accessing support for this can be difficult, with healthcare resources having strict access criteria and in limited supply. With my training in eating disorder treatment, I can offer you a safe space to explore what's happening, to make sense of why, and help you to use tools and techniques to break the old habits and routines of disordered eating, allowing you to live your life without the burden that disordered eating brings.

Chronic pain

There are a lot of people living with chronic pain in the UK. It impacts on daily life and can drastically reduce our quality of life. In our sessions we can explore and develop other ways of managing the pain and its impacts, and improve your quality of life.

DESIGN

Chronic health conditions

Chronic health conditions bring with them a range of challenges and obstacles to living the life we want to live. It can be hard to adjust and tricky to know how we approach life with these changes. One to one sessions provide a safe space to explore the impacts on your self and develop new ways of being true to who you are.
